Hello! ^.^
I suppose I should start off this shiney new blog of mine with an introduction to myself... so here I go...
My name is Raven, I'm a young person from the empty space in your cupboard. If you havn't got any space in your cupboard, or even have a cupboard at all, then I live with the dust mites in your carpet... I might even have been snuffled up your nose a couple of times. EWEWEWEW... Moving on...
I'm what you might call a bit of a nerd... and I'm not just saying that because it's fashionable. I have terrible social skills, and if you're talking to me without me knowing you very well then things can get awkward quite quickly... I love the show Sherlock, so I suppose you might call me a "highly functioning sociopath". (But seriously, I would love you if you called me that >.<) I don't know why, but I have this huge phobia...of improper grammar. It might have something to do with the fact I write a lot, mostly for roleplays and stories, and the green line that pops up underneath the words if you have a mistake in your grammar in Word has come to mean total destruction of everything by me xD. I hate the red one too, so I like to spell things right. xD
As you may have guessed by now... I like smileys. Like these: ^.^ >.< O.O o.O >.> n.n -.- V.V @.@"
I think they're cute >.< I use the word cute a lot too... mostly for things other people wouldn't normally call cute. Like, "OMG, that door knob is so cute!", or, "OMG, that jar is so cute!"... yes. I think I might be a little Japanese at heart... but then again, I watch a lot of anime, so that's probably where that comes from. I say a lot... but compared to some people, I watch about as much anime as there are books in the Big Brother house, or brain cells included in websites like Twitter.
I hate Twitter. And Facebook. And Tumblr. And all those stupid things that don't really make sense... "Ever felt the need to tell your friends every time you eat a peice of toast or clip your toenails? Twitter is the website for you!" They even have the nerve to call it "Social Networking"... when really there is NOTHING social about sitting at your laptop or on your phone telling all your other friends about the friends your supposed to be talking to. But I'll save this for a later post...I'll make one especially for rants about stupid stuff which I hate so this one doesn't get too cluttered. >.<
I like reading, and writing (as already said). I have two great goals in my life... one to become exaclty like Sherlock Holmes (Just because he's a fictional character, doesn't mean he can't be a role model), and two to write the longest book of good literature ever known to man or alien. It will be like the Bible of all things smart, witty and clever, and hopefully it will make up for the terrible novels people write these days. I'm going to make one word for every star, then pile them all together to make an immense spool of good, solid literature. So far I have only 17,000,000 words to go, if I want to beat Marienbad My Love by Mark Leach. Even then he didn't write or even type most of those words, because it was a text collage.
After all this hateful nonsense I've said so far, you might think I'm a pretty terrible person... and I will admit I am pretty mad, and might possibly not be very easy to get to know (I wouldn't know if I was or not... because unfortunately it's impossible to try), but my family and friends seem to love me (They say they do anyway xD) so that's enough for me. But don't let this paragraph fool you into thinking I'm leaving just yet. Oh no... I still have to tell you a little bit more about me yet.
I wear my socks on the outside of my leggings, even though I'm from Australia and the only other time I've seen this done is in Brittain...for some reason it always looks better on British people. >.< Speaking of Brittian, it's near the top of my imaginary "Places to go" list, probably in the same paragraph as the rest of Europe. I'd also like to go to Japan some day, and while I'm on the topic of this country I would like to say how horrible it is what happened to them during the earthquakes and tsunamis they went through a few months ago. I hope they recover from it soon, and I can't even begin to say how sad it makes me that all those poor people died.
Anyway... I hope this has made a good enough impression that I won't have scared you off xD Fun times, my friends/strangers, fun times xD
